Hi Heather. I wanted you to know that your article last summer (June, maybe?) Inspired me to start using coupons differently and much more effectively. I’ve saved my family of four a lot of money, thanks to your inspiration and all the other Coupon Queens out there. I got a raincheck at Meijer the other day for the Crest that was in the 10/$10 + 11th free deal. To use this raincheck, do I have to buy 11 Crests since the other items in the deal are no longer 10/10. Or can I just buy 3 and get the $1 price on those?

Kind of went to your Janauary class (in Moscow), thinking that I would be bored and leave early. NOT!!!! I could have stayed all weekend…it was that interesting and sooooooo much fun. Am sure that you hear this often – but here it is, one more time – you changed our lives! We are a one-income family (DH is once again a FT student), and are amazed at how little we spend at the grocery store. THANKS. Now, what do we do with the 22 boxes of Cheeries…LOL…maybe there’s another class or 12-step program for that. You rock!!!
Hello LMKA! I signed up and paid to take your class this past January. If I remember correcly it snowed pretty bad that day and I could not make it. Something came up in February and I couldnt make that class either. I had intended to pick up the LittleMissKnowitAll’’s Guide to Maximum Savings at this meeting in January.
I still want to attend a class, but can I go ahead and get the Guide?

This comment is in regards to Autism and I know you have anothr blog, but I couldn’t find it. The fundraiser started on March 12th and ends April 12th….I haven’t seen it mentioned on anyones blog, and wondered if there were some conflicts. Went to western hills target this morning….none of those great prices were the same there it is much more expensive. Gillette body wash 3.49. Renu trial size 1.49. Where did you see those prices?

I just read a comment on Hip2Save that said you could get overage at Walgreens if you bought an extra item. Does it work? Is this kosher?

I found this site today because I feel as though I have bought a couple of fraudulent coupons. I now know that the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Coke coupons have been photocopied. I purchased 20 of these and have used 12. I didn’t know they were fake until the other day when at Walmart (where I’ve never used these) the cashiers now have to call someone with a walkie-talkie (mgr) to come over and check all coupons that are blank on the back..i.e. internet coupons. She said you can just tell if it was printed from a computer or scanned on a color COPIER! I have a huge binder with all of my coupons neatly organized thanks to Mr’s A’s lovely sheets! Anyway, all of my coupons were good. I said, “what do you think about this one?” and showed her the Diet Coke coupon and she said, that is “VERY VERY IFFY” and I probably would decline it. She then asked the cashier to try and scan it and it WOULD NOT SCAN. Which is what had been happening each time I used them at my local CVS or Walgreens since they’d been having sales recently!!!! I left a coupon there so they could show the other cashiers what to look for. I am going to go to CVS and Walgreens and try to somehow pay them back for all the free soda I feel I have gotten when I shouldn’t have. I cannot tell you have horrible it feels. Now I am questioning my free bags of Purina dog food coupons which I bought 6 of them for up to 37.5 lbs. I go to Petsmart once a week, get a bag and take it to the local shelter. But now I don’t know if they’re legitimate or not. My local shelter is so happy to get this food and I am so conflicted. I feel sick to my stomach and about to break out into tears and I’m a tough broad. I don’t cry or show any emotions. I’ve been using my dog food coupons and even other coupons and donating the foods to my animal shelter and my local food bank as well as stopping when people have signs and handing them a bag of groceries. I am trying to help people as well as keep myself afloat and now I just don’t know. Who can I ask about these Purina coupons? They scanned at Petsmart, she didn’t manually have to do anything. So does that mean they’re good? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I was wondering if you knew whether the NKY area actually had these Angel soft coupons in their paper? I got several papers and each one had the exact same coupon insert pages but there was no angel soft coupons to be found…

I have been couponing for about 1yr now. With help from your site and others I have saved my family of 6 thousands of dollars! I buy 3-4 papers per weekend depending on coupons. I have been having an issue with recieving all the coupon packets in the paper lately though. I live in Maineville, Ohio (about 10min past Kings Island) I check both UDF and Kroger and consistently coupons are missing. I have talked with the stores and even tried calling the paper with no results. I know I am not the only one in the area with this problem. I have gotten many of my neighbors to start couponing and we all are having the same issue. I don’t know what to do and thought maybe you might have some advice. Thank you.

You can do it in any combination you’d like, but the other items won’t be 10/10 (or the 11th free) b/c they aren’t written on the raincheck. So you’ll get the $1 price whether you buy 1 or you buy 10.

An in-home party is 10 or more, a full class usually averages 30 or more–often about 60.

Not scanning is one warning sign of a fraudulent q, but it can also just be a sign of a bad print job. Some of the things they mentioned are correct, but don’t always mean that the q’s you have are definitely frauds. Email me and we’ll go through the warning signs.
