About LMKIA

Heather Tenney, aka LittleMissKnowitAll, is a licensed lay pastor and stay at home mom to two growing monkeys.  Never once considering anyone would be seriously interested in her ramblings on coupons, Heather began blogging as a way to help her friends and family save money in a quick and timely way. Littlemissknowitall.net was born in January 2009 from her time at the blog network Contentquake, and in only 10 months the online savings magazine has grown to a monthly audience of more than 50,000 unique readers and followers from the Cincinnati area and all over the nation!

Heather is now much more than ‘just’ a stay at home mom and Coupon Queen.  She’s been featured on tv news broadcasts in more than 22 cities across the nation, has been a contributor to Gannett’s Cincinnati.com, BlissfullyDomestic.com and many more sites, as well as being the most reconizable grocery and drugstore savings expert in Cincinnati.  Featured in Cincinnati on all four major tv news networks, she now is the savings expert for Bonneville Media–featured more than 30 times a day on Q102, B105, 94.9 Re-Wind, and 97.3 The Wolf.  She also makes weekly stops into the morning shows for B105, Q102 and 94.9 Re-Wind sharing the week’s can’t-miss sales.  She has become the go-to person when a reporter has a question about saving money or shopping in the Cincinnati region.  LittleMissKnowitAll is also the top savings expert behind CincySavers.com, making frequent appearances at local businesses to help them connect with consumers.  She has taken her background in political media and campaign management to take the complex data and reasoning that underlies why companies use coupons in marketing to help consumers hurting in this economy understand the when, why and what of using coupons to maximum advantage.  Her time in politics helps her put together the many different factors involved–manufacturer, retailer, and consumer–and disseminate information in quick, easy to understand bites.  Heather is just as comfortable meeting with corporate executives as she is with giving hugs to readers in the grocery store aisles.  She moves easily from meeting with advertising executives at a major grocery chain into standing in that same grocery store helping a customer decide which pack of diapers to buy, and what savings technique to use.  She watches sales cycles, prices rising and falling, corporate profit and market share reports, and consumer trends to come up with a unique glimpse into the minds of all areas ofthe retail marketing industry.

Heather’s specialty isn’t just coupons–her system encompasses five savings strategies that put together old techniques in a new way to revolutionize the way a family spends money!  Her passion is to give hope and encouragement in teaching families that there really is a way to live better on less money!  And that frugal doesn’t mean cheap!  Cheap isn’t in her vocabulary.  Frugal, however, is a way of living that allows the consumer to see quality products and find ways to afford the items they will use while avoiding the traps of common shopping wisdom that lures consumers to cheap products that will fail them quickly. Ask the thousands who have bought her ebook or attended one of her classes and they will tell you that Heather is eager to help everyone save money yet not pass up on the finer things in life that make it enjoyable!  Spot Heather in the store and you’re likely to find her giving a mini-class right in the dairy aisle!  She’s just that passionate about helping people, wherever she is.

I have been couponing for about 1yr now. With help from your site and others I have saved my family of 6 thousands of dollars! I buy 3-4 papers per weekend depending on coupons. I have been having an issue with recieving all the coupon packets in the paper lately though. I live in Maineville, Ohio (about 10min past Kings Island) I check both UDF and Kroger and consistently coupons are missing. I have talked with the stores and even tried calling the paper with no results. I know I am not the only one in the area with this problem. I have gotten many of my neighbors to start couponing and we all are having the same issue. I don’t know what to do and thought maybe you might have some advice. Thank you.
