Wow!  We had NO idea the response we’d have when we said we were doing a Holiday Gift Guide!  In a little over a week my inbox has been flooded with more than a thousand products for review!!  We’ve been slowly but surely sorting through them to narrow those thousand products down to 40 that we will include in our gift guide.  While we’d love to review more, we are limiting it to 40 so that you know that every item has been well-tested by us.  And that’s what we’re doing–we are testing each and every item that we recommend in the gift guide.  We’re good–but not superhuman to be able to review all 1000 submissions!!

So while I can’t tell you yet what we’re reviewing, I can tell you its very, very good!  I’m really excited at all of the unique and creative items we are testing out–including a few that will be huge helps to all the couponers out there!  We’ll have gifts for kids, for women, for the men in your life, electronics, toys, books, home improvement, services, salons, experiences and more!

However I can tell you a few crazy items that were submitted to us that we WON’T be reviewing!!  Items like:

• Hemmoroid Reducers (and no, I’m not kidding.  Someone sent us one wanting us to review it!)
• Electronic cigarettes
• Naughty Santa gifts (Oh my!  This IS a family-friendly site after all!)
• Paper made from Elephant Dung (Thanks honey for this thoughtful gift!)
• Workout towels with Motivational Sayings (Something tells me that if you’re using them, you’re already motivated!)
• No innappropriate clothing or website tools for pre-teens.  (Sorry, not going there!)
• Overpriced items (We’re a frugal site.  If the product isn’t frugal, giving us great value for every dollar we spend on it, we’re not reviewing it!)

Marci, Mendy, Amber and I are working hard now to get this together.  We are so excited to show you what we’ve found!  We’ve even arranged for some pretty cool giveaways to go with it!  Watch for it on December 4th!
