The Ethics of Black Friday
What does Black Friday have to do with ethics in blogging? I know so many of you have wondered why I’ve not had any Black Friday ads up on my site. There’s a very good reason: most of the ads you’ve been sneaking a peek at on other sites are illegal. Plain and simple–they were sneaked out or stolen from various sources, and put up on websites without the company’s permission. We don’t play that way around here.
One of my passions and goals is to always be bringing you 100% ethical deals. I can’t preach about the Couponer’s Golden Rules if I don’t practice it. I can’t tell you to treat the stores with respect and courtesy if I’m posting illegal ads or endorsing sites that do. That’s not treating stores with respect. Not only are the stores hurt by what’s happening on other sites, but real people with real families are fired because of leaks and mishaps.
Now I’m not sitting here judging anyone who’s used those sites, or the sites themselves. Some of them have perfectly legitimate ways of getting their ads. But unless the company has said its for public release, I don’t want any part of that. I want you to be able to trust me and know that I’ve done what I can to make sure I have accurate information. We all make mistakes–but this helps show you that I mean it when I say I want to keep things 100% ethical and honest. If we show a deal, we’ve had it from a legitimate source you can verify. CincySavers is the same–which is one reason why I love working with them!
All of that said…we now have a long list of Black Friday ads up! Check it out!

I respect your commitment to honesty and integrity!! Sometimes some of the “deals” posted elsewhere also are not correct, which also leads to disappointment too!
Your link to the Black Friday ads (above) does not work – it says error establish data base connection.
LOL! How funny is that! I’ll go fix it!
Its working again. Cincysavers has had some server issues–that must’ve happened again.
I appreciate your honesty! Thanks LMKIA!
