Have you tried Swagbucks yet?  I have to admit, I’ve been slow to jump on the bandwagon.  I first saw it announced several months ago, but to me it looked like just another one of the many jump-through-a-thousand-hoops-to-get-not-much-back sites.

Boy was I wrong!!  I’ve been watching, and its the real deal!  I signed up long ago but just started using it properly last week.  I signed in early last week and had 6 Swagbucks.  As of this morning I have 24!

Swagbucks is a search engine and shopping site.  Basically, when you want to search for something, instead of going to Google, you go to Swagbucks.  Now, it’s Google-powered, so the results are very similar.  And as I search, I’m earning Swagbucks.  I collect them and then turn them in for rewards–like Amazon gift cards, toys and much more.

• Install their toolbar–makes searching fast and you’ll get messages once in awhile about special bonus swagbuck codes!
• Follow them on Facebook and Twitter–sometimes they send out special codes for bonus Swagbucks
• Watch the blogosphere–they often give special bonus codes to bloggers to share with their readers.
• Refer your friends–when you share Swagbucks with your friends, you get bonus bucks.  But then you also get swagbucks when your friends earn swagbucks!  You can earn up to 100 per friend!
