Renaissance Festival Giveaway – And the Winner Is!!!!

Congratulations Anjie!!! Her post ” I would love to go back to the renaissance festival, it’s been several years since we have been. We loved the full armored joust and the mudde show. This is truely a day of fun…….I do agree you can’t go to the renaissance without getting a turkey leg”, was randomly chosen from random.org!
The Ohio Renaissance Festival is one of the most affordable family adventures right here in our backyard. Where else can you enjoy daily shows, unique arts and craft shops, games of skill, human-powered rides and the BEST turkey leg you will ever eat!
Every year my family, friends and I get all dressed up for the times and enjoy a day living in the 16th century world that they have created there.

I have always wanted to go to the Renaissance Festival, but I’ve never made it! After being laid off about a month ago, catch some deals on tickets so I can attend the festival in my extra time. My parents are both laid off as well, so it would be nice to treat the three of us!
We love to go to the renaissance faires. We go to the one in Emminence KY as well. But the OH one is much bigger. Love the “Mud Show”, the human chess match, and that guy that makes bologna sandwiches with his bare feet then feeds them to audience members…eeeeewwww!!
I’m a fan on facebook! Both cincy savers and LMKIA…
My husband and I go every other year or so, usually with friends. Love the two swordfighting comedian guys and know enough to sit in the back at the Mud theatre. Love to get my hair braided but that won’t be happening this year
!
The swordfighing guys are Dirk and ….

I have never been but my husband and I talk about it every year. One of these days we will go, it looks like fun! If I win we will go this year for sure!
I just recently moved here from Massachusetts, and had plans on going. However my mother passed away on July 16th. We had to use what little money we had to pay for the funeral. I would still like to be able to take my family for we do not have anything like this up north.

We haven’t been to the Renaissance Festival since our first daughter was born….it’s been awhile! I would love to take the kids, what an enjoyable day for the whole family!
Cincysavers rock. We purchase for ourselves and for birthday, anniversary and Christmas gifts.
I like the fact that cincysavers.com has so many feature on one site. I check lmka and nickel’s and dimes everyday, I’ve added cincysavers to my favorites list and plan to check it everyday, too. Thanks for everything you do!
The Ohio Renaissance Festival isn’t what it once was. They have been getting rid of performers, shows, and at least one stage. The ticket price is about twenty bucks a head and the medieval market place is more like a modern flea market. So many people have been thrown out that there is now a protest website. Just google the protest of the Ohio Renaissance Festival to see what I mean. One is fairly well presented. The other is just kind of insulting.
My wife and I went there on our first date. We go back every year and enjoy it very much. We have been married for 14 years this month.
