Some deals I see this week

I’m going through the ads and I see a few things that peak my interest.  Some of these might appear on the regular store by store lists…or not.  I’m still going through so understand this is a work in progress and I will be adding as I go.  If you see something I’ve missed, leave it in the comments below!

There were great q’s in the paper today–$1/1 Tide, $2 off Pantene Thick, BOGO on Head and Shoulders (use on trial sizes or get the $2/2 off ebay and combine at Kmart to get 4 for cheap!) and more.  Make sure to get extra copies or use one of those coupon clipping services in my sidebar to order more.  And if you order off Ebay, make sure to get your bonuses by using both Ebates and Ebay bucks.  (you get BOTH!!)  Ebates is a service you click on before going to Ebay and they give you money back for each purchase.  (Plus a $5 bonus when you sign up.  I get $60 every 4 months from Ebates for shopping I was already doing.  I also earn $5 when you sign up through my link, so this is a good way to support this site and all the free work we do, along with printing coupons from our Coupons.com ad.  *shameless plug*)  Ebay bucks simply tracks your Buy it Now purchases.  Its pennies back on each coupon order, but when you order regularly it adds up quickly!

Right now I’m not linking to coupons or their source.  You can look them up at my coupon database at LMKIA’s database.

Kmart in my area is having Super Doubles again.  Coupons up to $2 double up to $4.  There are some new rules–limit 10 coupons per transaction and you must spend at least $25 before coupons so it makes it a little trickier.  But I see some pretty interesting deals.

  • Pantene is 3 for $10.  If the Thick is included, then after the $2 q doubles it would be free!  There’s a BOGO that matches with it so buy one using the $2 q and use the BOGO to get the second free.
  • Lysol is 3 for $8.  $1 coupons abound, making it under $1 each after doubles.  Check the database for details.
  • Hefty trash bags are $6.99 for 45 bags, with a $1/1 printable on Redplum insert!  After doubles that makes it $4.99 but still a pretty good price for Hefty bags.
  • Not sure the price on Head and Shoulders, but if you get the $2/2 from ebay and combine with the BOGO you could get four for really cheap.  I’m guessing its $5 each, so that $6 for four.  (The $2/2 doubles to $4/2 and covers the first two bottles, then the BOGO covers the second two bottles.)  If my guess at pricing is correct, its about $1.50 for each full size bottle.

Aldi’s has produce deals this week.  Remember that you can freeze a lot more than most people think–or you can cook it up and freeze it to take advantage of GREAT prices!

  • .15 each for lemons or limes (normally 3/$2 at my local stores.)
  • bagged salad for .69 (normally $1.50-$1.99 at most stores.)
  • 8 0z Mushrooms .69, (normally $1.99 at most stores–and these you can saute up in some olive oil and freeze for use later!)
  • Red Onions 2 lb bag, .69 (normally $1.99–and again, slice and dice and freeze!!)

Target has Kashi on sale and new Kashi Target q’s to match!

  • Kashi cereal is $2.66.  Use the BOGO from Target’s website and the $1.50/1 printable to make it 2 for $1.16 or .58 a box!
  • Kashi TLC bars are $2.50 each.  Use the $1/2 from Target’s website and the $1.50/1 printable to make it .50 a box!

biggs soda sale continues today.  biggs and Kroger both have eggs for .99 a dozen this week.  biggs has the 10/$10 on soda 2 liters–check ebay for coupons to make them .45-.75 each!

Walgreens has a few good sales:

  • Starbucks ice cream pints are BOGO at $4.79 for one.  Walgreens computers usually ring up one at half price the second the other half so you can use two coupons on a BOGO sale.  Usually–Wags is always YMMV by cashier or mood.  Anyway, there’s a $2/1 from a recent paper or on ebay, or some have printables from a few weeks back.  This makes them .40 each!!
  • Covergirl had a $1/1 coupon in the paper today.  Combine with the CG sale at Wags this week.  Buy $10 in CG products get a $3 Register Rewards.

CVS has a two day sale going on.  When you purchase the listed items, you get the same amount back in ECB’s toward your next purchase, in effect making them free.  Try this:  get one item and its ECB, then go get the second one, using the first ECB to help pay for the second one so you have a lower out of pocket cost!

  • Caliber pencils are .99 with a .99 ECB.  Caliber or CVS tape is $1.49 with a $1.49 ECB.
  • Febreze has an ECB deal.  Buy $10 in Febreeze products to get $5 in ECB’s back, limit 5 per household.  The Noticeables starter kit is $6.50 with a $4 coupon in todays paper.  The Febreeze fabric refresher is $5 (with $1 coupons on ebay and elsewhere) and there was a free Febreze air effects wyb Febreze Fabric refresh.  There are plenty of scenarios here to get those ECB’s for cheap depending on the q’s you have and what you need!
  • Colgate Total Advanced or Sensitive is $3.49 with a $2 ECB.  Use various q’s–$1.50 to $1 off (info in the database) to get it for .50 or even free after ECB!
  • CVS has a GREAT deal on the Head and Shoulders if you have all of the right q’s.  Its priced $4.99 with a $2 ECB, limit 3 ECBs.  So, buy 4–use 1 $2/2 and 2 BOGO to pay $8 out of pocket for four bottles.  Get back $6 in ECB’s to total out at $2 for four bottles!  (Remember if you’re doing other ECB deals, you don’t have to do them all at once–so you can use other ECB’s to pay for new ECB items to lower your out of pocket costs!)
  • Dawn had a .25/1 coupon in today’s paper.  Match it with the sale and ECB deal to get it for .25 each!  Buy 2 Dawn for $2.  Use the 2 .25 coupons to pay $1.50 out of pocket.  Get back $1 in ECB’s to net a price of $.50 for 2!

  1. Here’s what I saw this week so far

K-mart…4 boxes of free cheerios, if there are any left by the time I get
I get those $1 printables from Cheerios….that cheerios challenge thing.
I’ve got two of those, plus a $1 off 2 Q. If they all double, That’ll be
off and they are 4 for $6…woo hoo!!!

Remke has eggs for 77 cents. Plus they still have the free Mt. Olive relish
if you have that Q. And you’ll pick up cascade for $2.49 with the Q out of
    Sunday’s P&G insert

Meijer’s…99 cent blueberries, $1.67 cherries. Think I’ll grab some
splenda. If you go to Splenda’s website, they’ve got great Q’s. I’ll
probably grab their spaghetti and parmesean and applesauce. And the bacon
    bits are tempting.

Kroger…Ball Park Beef Dogs will be $1.70 after the Q. That’s great for
beef dogs. And I like their Tilapia, which is 25% off. And if I can find
the right Q’s, I’m hoping to get Keebler crackers and cookies for 69 cents
    each.

hope I didn’t duplicate any of your finds.

  2. Just wanted to let the moms out there know this…I went to KMart on Sunday and purchased the Mega pack of Easy-Ups on sale from 14.99 to 7.99 (no signs advertising this, just noticed it when I did a price check), plus the $1/1 q from Sunday’s paper and spent 5.99 on the mega pack of Easy-ups…wahoo!!!

  3. just a postcript to my K-mart run…my 4 boxes of cereal were 50 cents
each. The coupons I thought I’d use didn’tdouble, so I used $1 off 2 from
sunday inserts instead. I did get a free toothbrush though. My savings at
    the mart was about 69%.

And I didn’t get the Cascade at Remke since it was the small one. I got
two eggs though, great price point, and 4 more free relishes. Oh how I
    relish my relish…teehee

  4. one last thing. the newport K-mart had tearpads for dawn. not the smallest
    size though.
