Free Tickets to Disney for Military!
By now most of us have seen the ads telling us you get into Disney for free on your birthday. But did you know that if you’re active or retired US Military Personnel, you get a FREE 5 Day Ticket to Walt Disney World?!
That’s right! During the Disney’s Armed Forces Salute promotion, running through 12/23/09, active and retired military personnel receive a 5 day pass for free! The same applies to the US Coast Guard and activated members of the National Guard. Friends and family can get 5 day passes for as little as $99! AND to make the deal even sweeter? They can get up to 40% off Disney moderate resorts during select dates!
Also, did you know about Disney’s Shades of Green? One of only two AFRC’s in the US, its located on Disney property and offers Disney quality in a military-only setting. My husband is active duty and we got his 5 day pass which is fully loaded,
so he is able to park hop and also has admission to both water parks. We
went on my birthday, and as the active duty spouse, I was able to upgrade
my free birthday one day pass to the
5 day pass for an additional $25. If I wanted to add both water parks, that
would be an additional $25. So for $25 my husband and I each got 5 days at all
4 parks! What an awesome birthday gift! And the best part is that we do not
have to use all 5 days at once. We can go back anytime until Dec. 23rd.
