He said as long as the coupon says "limit one per purchase" that you should have been allowed to use them. He did re-iterate that Meijer has a limit of six of the same coupon. I know at least three of the various cashier managers who know the difference between 'purchase' and 'transaction.' I've also called the corporate office on some of their policies, more than once. In the past I haven't hesitated to pull out the free written policy they hand out at the front door--on the front of their fliers! Here's Meijer's corporate office--call them and report what happened. Its the only way things get fixed: 1800-543-3704. You just need to go up the chain of command there. I had trouble with them taking all my coupons and doubling the ones they did take. I made sure to not have more than two of any coupon I wanted to double and that they all started with 5's. They also said that since my other coupons said "one per purchase", I could only use "one per transaction". The employees were very nice, but they just didn't get it.
